# Apply with Abacus

1. Wait for `wait_for_application_state()` after navigation; Abacus application-process
   pages can render their body and controls after the document lifecycle event.
2. Require a substantial form and retain the exact job/application identifier in the URL.
   Do not generalize one tenant's identifier to another.
3. Read the whole schema before filling. Plan identity, address, availability, and custom
   questions only from approved profile sources.
4. Select salutation and other enumerations by visible label. Re-read the schema after a
   step transition or choice that reveals fields.
5. Upload documents through their labelled file refs and verify the typed outcome.
6. Do not advance past the final review or submit control. Stop if a later step introduces
   authentication or a bot challenge.
