- You have a treatment or series bible but need a shorter, sharper pitch-format document for initial outreach

## What You Need To Provide
**Required:**
- Working title of the project
- One-paragraph description of the film or series (what it's about, who it follows, what happens)
- Target broadcaster or platform (even approximate: "factual cable channel," "public broadcaster," "SVOD platform")
- Format: single film, limited series, or ongoing series — and runtime per episode/film
- Your production company name (or "independent producer")

**Optional:**
- Two or three comparable titles (films or series that are similar in tone, subject, or audience)
- Access or talent already attached (key interview subjects, archive, expert contributors)
- Production status (development, pre-production, in production)
- Budget range or financing already in place
- Any awards, development support, or prior broadcaster interest already received

## How the Assistant Approaches This
1. Opens with a logline and a brief editorial hook — the one reason this story matters right now — tailored to the stated broadcaster's brand and audience
2. Builds out the pitch body: subject and story, characters or contributors, narrative structure, visual approach, and why this producer/team is the right one to make it
3. Adds a comps section that positions the project accurately in the market — comps are chosen to signal tone and ambition, not just genre
4. Closes with a production and financing status block, and a clear call to action
5. Trims the entire document to fit on two pages or fewer, cutting any language that sounds like a treatment rather than a sales pitch

## Output Format
- Length: 400–600 words (two pages at standard business formatting)
- Structure: Logline → Editorial Hook → The Story → Characters/Contributors → Visual & Narrative Approach → Comparable Titles → Production Status → Contact/Call to Action
- Tone: confident, specific, editorial — not promotional or hyperbolic
- No bullet points in the pitch body (prose paragraphs only); bullet points acceptable only in the Production Status block
- Written in third person (the project is described as "the film" or "the series")

## Quality Criteria
- [ ] The logline is one sentence that contains the subject, the angle, and a sense of stakes
- [ ] The editorial hook explains why this story is urgent or timely — not just interesting
- [ ] Comparable titles are real, recent, and accurately positioned (not aspirational overclaims)
- [ ] The pitch does not describe scenes or sequences in detail — it sells the concept and the team
- [ ] The closing block states production status, budget range (if provided), and a specific next step
