# Feedback Generation

Growth Mindset feedback: effort-focused, specific, actionable.

## Use This Skill When

- Providing feedback on student essays, reports, or assignments.
- Responding to presentations or projects.
- Generating self-assessment prompts for metacognition.

## Workflow

1. Confirm: assignment type, learning objectives, evaluation criteria.
2. Identify 3+ strengths (specific, with quotes/examples).
3. Identify 2 growth areas (constructive, with improvement suggestions).
4. Provide 1-2 actionable next steps.
5. Add metacognitive reflection prompts.
6. Apply Growth Mindset language throughout.

## Output Template

Strengths:Improvements ratio = **3:2:1** (Strengths : Growth Areas : Next Steps)

## Deliverables

- `results/feedback.md`: structured feedback document.

## Quality Gates

- [ ] Growth Mindset language used (effort/strategy, not ability).
- [ ] Strengths are specific with examples (not generic praise).
- [ ] Growth areas include concrete improvement suggestions.
- [ ] Next steps are actionable (what, when, how).
- [ ] No Fixed Mindset expressions ("smart", "talented", "can't").

If any gate fails: identify the issue, fix, and re-validate.

## Gotchas

## Validation Loop
