# Design impact report

Help the user turn one initiative they owned into a short, shareable impact report,
using the bundled template.

## How to run

1. Read `assets/impact-assessment-report-template.md`. That is the exact output shape.
2. Interview the user one question at a time, in this order. Ask, wait for the answer,
   then ask the next:
   - What was the initiative? (one line)
   - What problem or opportunity did it address?
   - What was the baseline, the starting point before you began?
   - What single success measure did you set out to move, and why that one?
   - What shipped, or what did you run?
   - What was the result, against that baseline and measure?
   - What's the one most important thing you learned?
   - What decision or recommendation does this evidence support?
   - Who needs to see this, including the decision-makers?
3. If the user can't name a baseline or success measure, help them reconstruct a
reasonable one. Owning something measurable means choosing the measure, even after
the fact. Use their words; never invent numbers.
4. Fill the template with their answers and output the completed report as Markdown.

## Principles to hold

- Impact and communication are the measure, not personal taste.
- Evidence over adjectives: concrete, observable statements.
- One clear takeaway and one clear decision. Don't bury them.
