# Food & Beverage — Higgsfield Seedance 2.0

For food and drink content: restaurant promos, recipe demos, food ASMR,
beverage ads, plated-dish reveals, pour shots. The audience is hungry; the
prompt's job is to make them hungrier.

## When to use

- Restaurant ads, café / bar promos.
- Recipe videos, cooking demos.
- Food ASMR (Tasty / Bon Appétit / NYT Cooking style).
- Beverage ads: coffee, cocktails, soft drinks, wine.
- Dish-of-the-day social posts.

For pure product 360 (e.g. branded food packaging) → `09-product-360`. For
viral hook prioritisation → `11-social-hook` (then bring food sensibility
in).

## What's unique to food

1. **Foley over score.** A pour, a sizzle, a knife-on-board, a crunch — these
   carry the appetite-trigger more than any music can.
2. **Steam, drip, pull, sizzle.** Active food cues. Static food reads as
   leftover; food in motion reads as fresh.
3. **Macro framing dominates.** Food video lives in 50–135 mm equivalent,
   tight on the subject. Wide shots are setups, not heroes.
4. **Top-down or 30° angle for plates.** Side-on flattens; 30° preserves
   depth and ingredients; top-down shows composition. Avoid 0° front.
5. **Warm light.** Tungsten 2700–3000 K reads cosy and appetising. Cool
   light reads clinical and unappetising.
6. **Texture in highlights.** Food's appeal is in micro-detail: oil sheen,
   crust, condensation, flake, melt. Light it to catch these.

## Food-specific hooks

| Hook                       | Phrasing |
| -------------------------- | -------- |
| **Pour cascade** | "Macro on pour: liquid arcs from container into glass / dish over 1.5 s. Slow-motion drip preserves splash." |
| **Steam-and-reveal**       | "Steam fills frame in 0–1 s from off-screen pot. At 1.5 s steam parts to reveal plated dish." |
| **Pull-apart / cheese pull** | "Macro on hands pulling food apart; cheese strands / dough fold / sandwich crack at 1.2 s." |
| **Sizzle entrance** | "Macro on hot pan. Ingredient drops in at 1 s with audible sizzle and steam burst." |
| **Drop-and-splash**        | "Berry / cube / herb drops into liquid in slow-motion; impact at 1.5 s with crown splash." |

## Worked example — Coffee pour, 6 s

```
[HOOK 0–2 s]
Black frame, dark coffee bar ambient. At 0.4 s warm tungsten lamp clicks
on; reveals empty white ceramic cup centred on dark wood counter. Steam
already rising from bean grounds in basket nearby.
[ACTION 2–5 s]
Macro top-down view of cup. At 2 s espresso pour begins from left frame
edge — rich dark crema-brown stream arcs into cup, slow motion. Crema
forms at surface, swirling.
3.5 s: pour ends; cup is full. Camera tilts up to 30° angle, rack focus
shifts to surface crema texture.
4–5 s: a single drop of milk lands centre-cup, ripples out. Camera
holds.
[CLIMAX 5–6 s]
Wider shot: hand brings the cup toward camera in 3/4 angle. Steam rises.
Brand wordmark appears bottom of frame at 5.5 s.
[STYLE] Cosy, low-key, warm. Café feel.
[LIGHTING] Practical tungsten 2700 K from one lamp; rest of frame in
warm shadow. Highlights catch crema.
[CAMERA] Macro 100 mm equivalent. f/2.8. Mostly locked + small tilts.
[GRADE] Warm nostalgia: 3000 K, +15% saturation on warm tones, lifted
shadows.
[AUDIO] Café murmur ambient at −10 dB. Espresso machine hiss-and-pour
foley dominant from 2 s. Crema swirl subtle. Single soft milk-drop
plink at 4 s. No music — foley carries.
[OUTPUT] 6 s, 9:16 (or 1:1 for IG), 720p.
```

## Worked example — Cheese-pull pasta, 8 s

```
[HOOK 0–2 s]
Macro on bubbling cheese in dark pan. Steam rising. Lit warm tungsten.
At 1.5 s a fork enters from frame-right and dips into cheese — slow
pull begins.
[ACTION 2–6 s]
Slow-motion cheese pull: stretchy strands extend from pan as fork
rises. Camera holds locked at 30° angle, 100 mm macro. Cheese stretches
1.5 ft before strands begin to thin at 4 s.
4–5 s: rack focus from cheese strands to pan-base reveal — pasta
glistening underneath, herb flecks visible.
5–6 s: camera tilts up slightly; chef's hand sets fork down on a plate
that pulls into frame from right; pasta lands; final strand snaps and
falls onto plate.
[CLIMAX 6–8 s]
Bird's-eye top-down view of finished plate. Steam rises. Hand sprinkles
cracked pepper at 7 s. Brand or recipe-name title appears bottom-frame
at 7.5 s.
[STYLE] Tasty / Bon Appétit feel: warm, generous, crave-inducing.
[LIGHTING] Warm tungsten 2700 K from above-right; soft fill from below-
left; gentle back rim. Steam catches light.
[CAMERA] Macro + bird's-eye. Mostly locked. f/2.8 throughout.
[GRADE] Warm nostalgia. Slight saturation boost on warm tones; greens
of herbs preserved.
[AUDIO] Pan sizzle ambient throughout at −5 dB. Cheese-stretch foley
(viscous, satisfying) dominant 2–5 s. Plate-clink at 6 s. Pepper-grind
foley at 7 s. No music; foley is the score.
[OUTPUT] 8 s, 9:16, 720p.
```

## Common pitfalls

- **Cool / clinical lighting.** Cool light makes food look like a hospital
  meal. Stay warm.
- **Static food.** No steam, no drip, no pour, no pull = leftovers.
- **Front-on plate angle.** Doesn't show ingredients or depth. Use 30°
  angle or top-down.
- **Music drowning foley.** The sizzle is the sale. Music plays support,
  not lead.
- **Wide shots as hero.** Food video lives in macro. Wide is for context
  only.
- **Over-saturated colours.** Reads fake. Restraint on saturation makes
  food look real and edible.

## Submitting

Submit via the Higgsfield CLI (not the MCP server, not the API):

```bash
higgsfield generate create seedance_2_0 \
  --prompt "<the prompt you assembled above>" \
  --duration <n> --aspect_ratio <r> --wait
```

`--wait` blocks until the job is done and prints the result URL. See
[shared/submission.md](../../shared/submission.md) for media flags,
auth bootstrap, and the full rationale for preferring CLI over MCP.
