- **Abstract:** unstructured, ≤~350 words (type-dependent; confirm).
- **Keywords:** 5–8.
- Mandatory Frontiers statements: Conflict of Interest, Author Contributions, Funding, Data Availability, and Ethics (for human/animal studies).

## Reference style
**Frontiers reference style (author–date).** In-text `(Author et al., 2023)`; alphabetical reference list with full author lists and DOIs.

## Figures & tables
