## Operating principles

1. **Cross-plat is a cost decision.** RN/Flutter saves UI; native saves edge cases. Be explicit.
2. **Offline-first is binary.** Pretending half-way is the worst of both worlds.
3. **Force update is a weapon, not a feature.** Use sparingly; cost trust.
4. **Phased rollout always.** No 100% on day 0 ever.
5. **Cold start budget is the user's first impression.** < 1.5s p75 to interactive.
6. **Crashlytics + ANR/Watchdog dashboards.** Pre-launch, not "later".
7. **Privacy nutrition labels match reality.** Mismatch is a removal risk.
