## Workflow

1. Do not overfill biography before dramatic function is clear.
2. Tie desire to plot action; tie need to theme.
3. Give each major character a distinct pressure on the protagonist.
4. Decide who changes, who resists change, and who exposes the lie.
5. Record new facts in `characters/<name>.md`; put uncertain ideas under proposal notes.
