# Praxis Textbook Derivative Sync

## Purpose
This skill updates the compact exam-prep layers from canonical textbook chapters.

## Required inputs
Read:
- `/specs/textbook_manifest.json`
- `/plans/textbook_to_unit_crosswalk.md`
- stable files in `/textbook/chapters/`
- current target files in `/units/`, `/assessments/`, and `/exports/`
- `/qa/textbook_coverage_matrix.md`
- `/qa/unresolved_gaps.md`

## Rules
- sync only from chapters marked `Stable`
- preserve existing file names and repo contracts
- keep derivative outputs more compressed than the textbook
- record source chapter IDs in revision notes or handoffs

## Typical outputs
- refreshed units
- refreshed glossary entries
- refreshed cram sheets
- refreshed study-guide sections
- refreshed flashcards or review sets when appropriate

## Completion format
End with:
1. derivative files updated
2. source chapter IDs used
3. unsynced targets remaining
4. recommended next skill
