# Run open-source terminal coding workflows with Qwen Code

Use Qwen Code as a repeatable terminal coding agent: install the CLI, authenticate a provider, run interactive or delegated coding sessions, and connect skills, MCP servers, subagents, and sandboxed workflows when the operator needs an open-source agent runtime.

## Prerequisites

Qwen Code CLI, Node.js 22+ or Homebrew, model provider credentials, optional MCP servers and ACP delegation tooling

## Installation

Install or set up from the source-backed instructions:

npm install -g @qwen-code/qwen-code@latest
