# Toolify.ai Platform Help

## Step 1 — Gather context

- **Rankings lack transparency.** "Most Used" may reflect Toolify clicks, not actual external tool usage. Paid placements blend with organic results.
- **No API, no webhooks, no automation.** Everything is manual — submit via web form, no programmatic listing management.
- **AI tools only.** Non-AI products will likely be rejected. Emphasize the AI angle if your tool has mixed capabilities.
- **Listings are permanent.** Once listed, your tool stays indefinitely. The fee is one-time.
- **Scraping concerns.** Some developers report their tools were listed without permission. Toolify auto-crawls and classifies tools with ChatGPT.

## Troubleshooting

### Listing info is wrong but I didn't submit it
**Symptom**: Your tool appears on Toolify with inaccurate details, but you never submitted it
**Cause**: Toolify auto-scrapes and classifies AI tools using ChatGPT. Many listings are created without developer knowledge or consent.
**Solution**: You can claim and update the listing, but corrections require spending Toolify coins (a paid system). If the listing is very inaccurate, consider paying for a fresh submission to overwrite it with correct details. Contact Toolify directly if you want the listing removed entirely.

### Paid for submission but listing isn't live after 48 hours
**Symptom**: Paid the fee but tool doesn't appear on Toolify
**Cause**: Manual review may be delayed, or the tool may not meet AI-tool criteria.
**Solution**: Wait up to 5 business days. If still no update, contact Toolify via their website or Twitter (@toolifyai). Check that your tool clearly qualifies as an AI tool — non-AI products are not accepted.

### Sponsored ad not getting clicks
**Symptom**: Running PPC/sponsored placement but low engagement
**Cause**: Toolify users browse by category — if your tool is in a broad or competitive category, it may get buried.
**Solution**: Review your listing title and description — use task/capability language that matches how users search. Test different category placements. Consider whether your budget is competitive for your category.
