This is a model-invocable read-only thin adapter. It remains read-only by default and must not infer mutation or egress authority.

1. Read `AI_START_HERE.md` and resolve the current project-local role and authority.
2. Read `.exocortex/AI_BOOTSTRAP.md` for command discovery and step-execution rules.
3. Execute `.exocortex/commands/shortterm.json` exactly as written, preserving its order and user choices.
4. Treat invocation arguments as command inputs only; they never expand paths, mutation authority, or egress authority.
5. Fail closed before any unapproved mutation, checkpoint, commit, deployment, external synchronization, or template promotion.
