# Skill: Validate realized savings

Negotiated savings that never hit the P&L is theater.

## Step 1 — Set the baseline
A baseline finance recognizes — prior price/volume (§3 #3).

## Step 2 — Measure realized
Actual spend vs baseline at the new rate.

## Step 3 — Locate leakage
Maverick spend, volume miss, price creep, or scope change.

## Step 4 — Report to the P&L
Reconcile realized savings to a finance-validated number.

## Output
A finance-recognized baseline, realized savings, the leakage source, and a P&L-reconciled number.
