Engineering & Dev Tools

Engineering skills automate the parts of software development that eat time without adding complexity: generating dependency graphs, enforcing commit standards, producing standardized technical reports, and catching design failure modes before they reach production.

Generates module dependency graphs with circular dependency detection and coupling analysis. Supports JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go, and Rust. Outputs a visual graph (Mermaid or DOT format) plus a written report flagging high-coupling modules, circular imports, and suggested refactoring boundaries.
Score 85/100
Pedantic pre-commit and atomic commit workflow for Django and similar backend frameworks. Enforces conventional commit format, checks for test coverage before committing, validates migrations are included with model changes, and prevents secrets from entering version control. Pairs with any CI pipeline.
Generates standard technical reports and calculations for engineering projects — structural, mechanical, or software. Follows ISO and ANSI formatting conventions, includes calculation chains, assumptions sections, and revision history blocks. Dramatically cuts the time from analysis to deliverable-ready documentation.

Rewrites prose for direct-answer structure, adds quotable statistics, improves entity disambiguation, and scores content on six AI-extractability dimensions. The best skill for teams investing in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
Strategy and implementation for App Store and Google Play review solicitation, in-app rating prompts, and review syndication. Frequently asked questions

What are Claude Code skills?

Claude Code skills are SKILL.md files — Markdown documents with YAML frontmatter that give Claude Code new slash commands and specialized capabilities. Installing a skill is like giving Claude a domain expert persona for a specific task. Skills live in ~/.claude/skills/ and activate the moment Claude Code starts.

How do I install Claude Code skills?

Manually: download the SKILL.md file, place it in ~/.claude/skills/{skill-name}/SKILL.md, and restart Claude Code. With Pro: one-click install via the ClaudSkills desktop app. Either way, the new command is available in seconds. Full install guide →

How are skills scored and ranked?

Every skill is scored 0–100 by an AI quality reviewer checking five dimensions: completeness of the frontmatter (25%), clarity of the instructions (25%), practical applicability (20%), safety — no prompt injection or destructive defaults (20%), and originality (10%). Only skills scoring 70 or above appear in the public catalog. Skills on this page all score 70 or above, with most at 85+.

Are Claude Code skills safe to install?

Yes. Skills are plain Markdown — not executable code. They give Claude natural-language instructions; the worst a bad skill can do is confuse Claude. The quality scorer also screens for prompt injection patterns. As with any open-source resource, read the file before installing.

What's the difference between Claude skills and MCP servers?

MCP servers are external processes that expose tools and APIs to Claude at runtime — they require configuration, API keys, and a running process. Claude Code skills are lightweight Markdown files that extend Claude's behavior through natural-language instructions alone. Skills require no separate process, no network connection, and no API keys beyond what Claude Code itself needs.
