Recent picks
How it works
Each UTC day's pick is computed by hashing the date and modding by the
size of the eligible pool. That makes the pick deterministic, which in
turn makes each /sotd/YYYY-MM-DD/ URL permanent — you can
share today's pick and tomorrow it still points at the same skill.
The eligible pool is the catalog's daily_eligible
flag (top ~12% by multi-signal Quality Score). As new high-quality
skills are mined into that bucket, future picks include them; past
picks are frozen on first render and never change.
