Bean
Run a task as a recursive convergence loop, not a fixed checklist: investigate the most decisive open question, record what you learn as typed evidence in a ledger, let a compiler score what is still weak or contradictory, revise beliefs that new evidence overturns, and loop until the evidence converges — then deliver. Continuously spins up subagents and uses whatever skills/connectors exist. Verbose by default. Trigger on /bean, on "do this thoroughly / be systematic / deep work mode", OR when a task spans multiple files, sources, or sessions. Do NOT trigger on ordinary tasks a direct attempt handles fine. Auto-trigger applies only where the runtime allows it; on Codex, bean runs only on an explicit /bean.

From the source SKILL.md
bean runs a task the way the Fable model worked: it keeps looking where a one-shot answer would stop, kills its own incorrect beliefs as it learns, validates its work against a real signal before declaring done, and improves from its own accumulated notes. It is a recursive convergence loop, not a fixed sequence of phases.
What this skill does
Bean is a community-contributed Claude Code skill in the automation sub-category. It ships as a SKILL.md file that Claude Code auto-discovers under ~/.claude/skills/bean/ and loads when your prompt matches the skill's trigger.

What does the Bean skill do?
Run a task as a recursive convergence loop, not a fixed checklist: investigate the most decisive open question, record what you learn as typed evidence in a ledger, let a compiler score what is still weak or contradictory, revise beliefs that new evidence overturns, and loop until the evidence converges — then deliver. Continuously spins up subagents and uses whatever skills/connectors exist. Verbose by default. Is this skill free to install?
Yes. ClaudSkills is an open registry — every skill keeps its source repository's license, and manual install via copy is free. ClaudSkills Pro ($9/mo, $79/yr, or $149 one-time) adds one-click install via the desktop app and a multi-signal Quality Score.
When should I use the Bean skill?
Use Bean when your Claude Code task falls under the General category — specifically in the automation area. Claude Code auto-discovers installed skills and invokes the right one based on the task description, so you can also ask Claude directly (e.g. "use Bean" or describe the task and let Claude pick). /category/general/.
What is a Claude Code skill and how does the Bean skill fit in?
A Claude Code skill is a
SKILL.md file that lives under
