XP's story card as conversation (Beck, 1999): a card is a self-contained briefing for the next reader — human or agent — written so the work can be picked up cold. Hallway context evaporates between /loop iterations and conversational continuity is the first casualty when a sub-agent reads the card three weeks later. Each card must therefore carry its own evidence (verbatim quotes, reproducer output), its own framing (what's broken, why it matters), and its own closure contract (the DoD).
Create Card is a community-contributed Claude Code skill in the orchestration-frameworks sub-category. It ships as a SKILL.md file that Claude Code auto-discovers under ~/.claude/skills/create-card/ and loads when your prompt matches the skill's trigger.
The Create Card skill is built for Claude Code users and developers across all disciplines looking for general-purpose AI assistance. It is part of the open ClaudSkills registry, a community-curated catalog of 65,000+ capabilities you can install for Claude Code — the Claude CLI agent.
mkdir -p ~/.claude/skills/create-card curl -L https://claudskills.com/skills/create-card/SKILL.md \ -o ~/.claude/skills/create-card/SKILL.md
Or just download SKILL.md directly and drop it into ~/.claude/skills/create-card/. Claude Code auto-discovers it on next session.
Skills live at ~/.claude/skills/create-card/SKILL.md on macOS/Linux, or %USERPROFILE%\.claude\skills\create-card\SKILL.md on Windows. See the full install guide for step-by-step instructions.
The ClaudSkills desktop app installs any skill directly into ~/.claude/skills/ with one click — no terminal required. Pro starts at $9/mo or $149 lifetime.
