Esp32 Wroom 36pin
Firmware development for the 36-pin ESP32-WROOM-32 development board — the original DOIT ESP32 DevKit V1 with 18 pins per side, i.e. the 30-pin layout plus the six in-package flash pins (SD0 SD1 SD2 SD3 CMD CLK = GPIO6-11) broken out at the USB end, CH340G or CP2102 bridge, AMS1117 LDO, user LED on GPIO2, GPIO0 not on the header. Use when working on a 36-pin ESP32 devkit (ESP32-D0WDQ6 / ESP32-D0WD-V3, ESP-WROOM-32 module), or when identifying which ESP32 board size you have: project setup, platformio.ini and sdkconfig for ESP-IDF or Arduino, pin mapping and which GPIOs are safe, the flash-pin trap, strapping pins, ADC1 vs ADC2 with Wi-Fi, SPI speed and IO_MUX pins, deep sleep and RTC wake pins, flashing, BOOT/EN recovery, brownouts, or debugging why something on the board does not work.

From the source SKILL.md
The original DOIT ESP32 DevKit V1, before the flash pins were dropped to make the shorter 30-pin board everyone sells now. Eighteen pins a side: the 30-pin layout plus six pins at the USB end that go straight to the module's internal flash die.
What this skill does
Esp32 Wroom 36pin is a community-contributed Claude Code skill in the engineering-misc sub-category. It ships as a SKILL.md file that Claude Code auto-discovers under ~/.claude/skills/esp32-wroom-36pin/ and loads when your prompt matches the skill's trigger.
When to invoke it: Use when working on a 36-pin ESP32 devkit (ESP32-D0WDQ6 / ESP32-D0WD-V3, ESP-WROOM-32 module), or when identifying which ESP32 board size you have: project setup, platformio.ini and sdkconfig for ESP-IDF or Arduino, pin mapping and which GPIOs are safe, the flash-pin trap, strapping pins, ADC1 vs ADC2 with Wi-Fi, SPI speed and IO_MUX pins, deep sleep and RTC wake pins, flashing, BOOT/EN recovery, brownouts, or debugging why something on the board does not work.
Who uses this skill
The Esp32 Wroom 36pin Claude Code skill is built for software engineers, backend developers, full-stack teams, and technical leads building and maintaining production systems. It's part of ClaudSkills (also referred to as Claude Skills or Claude Code Skills) — the open community-curated registry of 211,000+ SKILL.md files for Anthropic's Claude Code agent and the wider Claude ecosystem (Claude API, Claude Agent SDK).
