The governing instruments are the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) with the 13 Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in Schedule 1, the Australian Consumer Law (ACL, Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) with the Competition and Consumer Regulations 2010, the Spam Act 2003 (Cth), the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth), the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), the Online Safety Act 2021 (Cth) and the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth).
