Mirage Graph Coverage

Category: General  ·  Sub-category: general-misc  ·  Last updated:
type:audittype:generator
Read-only coverage auditor for the mirage / MPK persistent-megakernel's GENERATED task graph: cross-references DECLARED tensors (all_tensors[...] in kernel_N.cu) against tensors CONSUMED by tasks (inputs/outputs base_ptr in task_graph_N.json) and flags any tensor declared but never consumed as an input - the "feature defined in code but never wired into the task graph" bug class (e.g. RoPE cos/sin tables allocated but consumed by 0 tasks => position-blind attention => incoherent / degenerate-repetition output). A numerics / relL2 harness silently PASSES on this class, so run THIS first when a megakernel compiles + exits 0 but emits incoherent output. Distinct from inference-graph-diff (vLLM FX / Inductor graphs). Triggers on "graph coverage", "task graph audit", "megakernel wiring", "declared but unconsumed tensor", "rope not wired", "missing task", or "megakernel / mirage / MPK / task-graph" with "coverage / wiring / unconsumed / unwired / audit".

From the source SKILL.md

Catches the missing-wiring bug class in a mirage/MPK generated megakernel: a tensor (or whole feature) is defined and allocated but never wired into a task, so the kernel runs without it. The canonical case is GLM-5.1 on GB300 where the RoPE cos/sin tables were attached but consumed by 0 tasks, so attention ran position-blind and the model emitted fluent-but-incoherent, repetition-collapsing tokens - while every per-kernel numerics test passed.

What this skill does

Mirage Graph Coverage is a community-contributed Claude Code skill in the general-misc sub-category. It ships as a SKILL.md file that Claude Code auto-discovers under ~/.claude/skills/mirage-graph-coverage/ and loads when your prompt matches the skill's trigger.

Who uses this skill

The Mirage Graph Coverage Claude Code skill is built for Claude Code users and developers across all disciplines looking for general-purpose AI assistance. It's part of ClaudSkills (also referred to as Claude Skills or Claude Code Skills) — the open community-curated registry of 201,000+ SKILL.md files for Anthropic's Claude Code agent and the wider Claude ecosystem (Claude API, Claude Agent SDK).

How to install

Frequently asked questions

How do I install the Mirage Graph Coverage Claude Code skill?
Install via the ClaudSkills desktop app (one click) or copy SKILL.md from the source repository to ~/.claude/skills/mirage-graph-coverage/SKILL.md and restart Claude Code. Both flows are detailed at claudskills.com/install/.
What does the Mirage Graph Coverage skill do?
Read-only coverage auditor for the mirage / MPK persistent-megakernel's GENERATED task graph: cross-references DECLARED tensors (all_tensors[...] in kernel_N.cu) against tensors CONSUMED by tasks (inputs/outputs base_ptr in task_graph_N.json) and flags any tensor declared but never consumed as an input - the "feature defined in code but never wired into the task graph" bug class (e.g. RoPE cos/sin tables allocated but consumed by 0 tasks => position-blind attention => incoherent / degenerate-repetition output). Is this skill free to install?
Yes. ClaudSkills is an open registry — every skill keeps its source repository's license, and manual install via copy is free. ClaudSkills Pro ($9/mo, $79/yr, or $149 one-time) adds one-click install via the desktop app and a multi-signal Quality Score.
When should I use the Mirage Graph Coverage skill?
Use Mirage Graph Coverage when your Claude Code task falls under the General category — specifically in the general misc area. Claude Code auto-discovers installed skills and invokes the right one based on the task description, so you can also ask Claude directly (e.g. "use Mirage Graph Coverage" or describe the task and let Claude pick). Browse related skills at /category/general/.
What is a Claude Code skill and how does the Mirage Graph Coverage skill fit in?
A Claude Code skill is a SKILL.md file that lives under ~/.claude/skills/<name>/ and tells the Claude Code CLI agent how to perform a specific task (instructions, prompts, allowed tools). Skills are auto-discovered at session start. Mirage Graph Coverage is one of 67,000+ skills indexed in the open ClaudSkills catalog, classified under the General category.
