Multi Server Devnet

Category: Product  ·  Sub-category: product-misc  ·  Last updated:
tool:docker
This skill should be used for managing long-lived lean-consensus devnets that run as detached docker containers on remote hosts — the usual setup is one INDEPENDENT single-host devnet per server, federated into one Grafana, but it also covers a single chain whose node indices are SPLIT across hosts. Works for any server names and any number of servers/nodes. Trigger when the user asks to "start/reset the devnet(s)", "start a devnet on <server>", "reset the cross-server devnet", "restart the devnet on both servers", "restart the devnet", "rolling restart", "recover stalled nodes", "the devnet stopped finalizing", "investigate the finality stall", "convert nodes to zeam/ream/qlean/grandine/gean/lantern", "multi-client devnet", "add a client to the devnet", "canary a new client/build", "scale the devnet / add a node", "set up grafana/prometheus for the devnets", "pull the latest image on the servers", or "add swap / memory limits to the servers". Distinct from the local single-host `devnet-runner` skill.

From the source SKILL.md

Operate lean-consensus devnets that run as detached containers (docker run -d --restart unless-stopped --network host) on remote hosts, surviving SSH disconnects and reboots. This is NOT the local devnet-runner (spin-node.sh) workflow — these are hand-managed detached containers.

What this skill does

Multi Server Devnet is a community-contributed Claude Code skill in the product-misc sub-category. It ships as a SKILL.md file that Claude Code auto-discovers under ~/.claude/skills/multi-server-devnet/ and loads when your prompt matches the skill's trigger.

Who uses this skill

The Multi Server Devnet Claude Code skill is built for product managers, product designers, and cross-functional teams planning, shipping, and measuring product features. It's part of ClaudSkills (also referred to as Claude Skills or Claude Code Skills) — the open community-curated registry of 211,000+ SKILL.md files for Anthropic's Claude Code agent and the wider Claude ecosystem (Claude API, Claude Agent SDK).
