Use --json, omit targets for the current context, and request only needed resources. When acquisition returns approval_pending, give the user the request number and wait for an unscoped shoal approve <number> or shoal deny <number>. When you no longer need a pending request, withdraw it with shoal --json approvals withdraw <number>. Supply --reason for protected access; inspect your requests with shoal approvals. Retry after approval, and stop on approval_denied. Never remove scope to approve your own request.
