Nobody reads a screen. People arrive with a question already in their head and hunt until they find the answer, and nothing on a screen is ever fully consumed. Every Law here exists to shorten that hunt. None of them is decoration: edges, differentiation and recognition are not what make a surface prettier, they are what make it faster to scan.
