From the source SKILL.md

This skill is written for tax year 2026 (returns filed in 2027). A short dated section near the end covers 2025 returns, which are still being filed on extension until 15 October 2026. The 2026 Form 2555 instructions were not yet published when this was written (25 September 2026). Where this skill describes form lines, it uses the 2025 instructions, so check the line numbers against the 2026 instructions before filing.
