Ww Setup
Initialize this project by making sure every external tool the skills in `.claude/skills` need is actually installed. Use this whenever the user wants to set up, bootstrap, init, or onboard the project, or asks "are the tools/dependencies installed?", "will the skills run on this machine?", "set this repo up", or after cloning/pulling on a fresh machine. Scans the skills for their real dependencies (language runtimes, third-party Python/npm packages, command-line tools the skills shell out to like poppler, and MCP servers), checks each, auto-installs the safe ones, asks before heavy/system installs, and hands off anything that only the user can connect (like an MCP server).

From the source SKILL.md
Make a freshly-cloned copy of this repo able to actually run its skills. The skills call out to external tools — python3 + reportlab to render cover letters, node to write/validate scraped JDs, the Claude-in-Chrome MCP server to drive WaterlooWorks. If any of those is missing, the skill fails partway through with a confusing error. This skill finds the gaps up front and closes the ones it safely can.
What this skill does
Ww Setup is a community-contributed Claude Code skill in the engineering-misc sub-category. It ships as a SKILL.md file that Claude Code auto-discovers under ~/.claude/skills/ww-setup/ and loads when your prompt matches the skill's trigger.
Who uses this skill
The Ww Setup Claude Code skill is built for software engineers, backend developers, full-stack teams, and technical leads building and maintaining production systems. It's part of ClaudSkills (also referred to as Claude Skills or Claude Code Skills) — the open community-curated registry of 196,000+ SKILL.md files for Anthropic's Claude Code agent and the wider Claude ecosystem (Claude API, Claude Agent SDK).
