Ta umiejętność jest odpowiednikiem /10x-bootstrapper dla projektów typu brownfield. Tam, gdzie bootstrapper tworzy nowy projekt i weryfikuje jego strukturę, health-check uruchamia te same trzy bramki wykonawcze (pre/in/post) jako ramy oceny dla istniejącej bazy kodu. Ponownie wykorzystuje wzorzec audytu dla poszczególnych języków z weryfikacji po utworzeniu struktury bootstrapper'a, ale stosuje go jako ruch otwierający, a nie zamykający.
