A finding the team can't trace back is a rumor wearing a finding's clothes. The receipt is the load-bearing artifact: the exact words from the source, who said or wrote them, and when. (Travis: a claim from one offhand comment is a rumor, not a result. Sharon: a nugget is an observation tied to its evidence.)
