Use this skill in any of these cases. (1) User asks to set up, initialize, install, or onboard PACE in this folder — "set up PACE", "onboard me to PACE", "make this a PACE vault", "initialize PACE here", or any message mentioning PACE setup. The skill body carries an inline Bash + uvx bootstrap recipe that works even before the plugin MCP loads. (2) Current folder contains an initialized PACE vault (`system/pace_index.db` exists) — call `pace_status` at session start. (3) User mentions remembering, capturing, or recalling work between sessions; states a durable fact, preference, decision, person, or date worth surfacing next session; or mentions a project by name, alias, or topical phrase ("the Q3 launch", "the redesign"). (4) User says "capture this", "remember", "load project", "what do you know about X", "who is X". Use the `pace_*` MCP tools (capture, search, project switching) so the AI's knowledge of the user, their business, and their projects compounds across sessions.
