Compatibility shim for the deprecated `scitex.gen` namespace. Most functions have moved to topical packages (`ci → scitex-stats.descriptive.ci`, `check_host/is_host/verify_host → scitex-os`, `detect_environment/is_notebook/is_script → scitex-context`, `list_api → scitex-introspect`, `run_shellcommand/run_shellscript → scitex-sh`, `xml2dict → scitex-io`, `title_case → scitex-str`, `symlink → scitex-path`). `scitex-gen` re-exports them with `DeprecationWarning` so existing user code keeps working while the migration completes. Treat it as a read-only legacy surface — for new code, import directly from the target package.

Deprecated namespace — kept for backwards compatibility. Every import emits DeprecationWarning pointing at the new location.
