Ultraloop

Category: General  ·  Sub-category: general-misc  ·  Last updated:
Completion discipline for coding agents: a task is done only when the result is verified and demonstrably works — not when the code is written. Overrides the default "code written = done" and right-sizes its process to the task. For a small, self-contained change it delivers the solution immediately on sensible defaults with its assumptions stated, without unnecessary questions or process overhead. For a feature or multi-step effort in a real project it inspects the repository first to answer its own questions, turns whatever the code cannot reveal into explicit flagged assumptions rather than interrupting, sets an explicit Definition of Done and an iteration budget (max turns) itself, then executes autonomously — looping change → tests → build → lint → live check (Playwright / Computer Use) → fix until every criterion passes — before assembling a clean pull request that passes CI/CD. Use this skill whenever the user invokes "ultraloop" or "/ultraloop", or asks to carry a task through to a verified, working result on its own — for example "make it and verify it works", "don't stop until it works", "get CI green", "work on it while I'm away", or "verify it actually works". It is not needed for a pure factual question or a trivial one-liner that can be answered inline.

From the source SKILL.md

Your default is to treat a task as done the moment the code is written. That's wrong, and it's disabled here. In ultraloop mode a task is done only when the result is actually verified and works — "looks correct in the code" is not proof; proof is an observed result from an actual run. What "verified" requires scales with the task: for a snippet it's running it against a couple of cases; for a feature in a real project it's green tests, a clean build, a live check, and a PR that passes CI/CD.

What this skill does

Frequently asked questions

How do I install the Ultraloop Claude Code skill?
Install via the ClaudSkills desktop app (one click) or copy SKILL.md from the source repository to ~/.claude/skills/ultraloop/SKILL.md and restart Claude Code. Both flows are detailed at claudskills.com/install/.
What does the Ultraloop skill do?
It is not needed for a pure factual question or a trivial one-liner that can be answered inline.
Is this skill free to install?
Yes. ClaudSkills is an open registry — every skill keeps its source repository's license, and manual install via copy is free. ClaudSkills Pro ($9/mo, $79/yr, or $149 one-time) adds one-click install via the desktop app and a multi-signal Quality Score.
When should I use the Ultraloop skill?
Use Ultraloop when your Claude Code task falls under the General category — specifically in the general misc area. Claude Code auto-discovers installed skills and invokes the right one based on the task description, so you can also ask Claude directly (e.g. "use Ultraloop" or describe the task and let Claude pick). Browse related skills at /category/general/.
What is a Claude Code skill and how does the Ultraloop skill fit in?
A Claude Code skill is a SKILL.md file that lives under ~/.claude/skills/<name>/ and tells the Claude Code CLI agent how to perform a specific task (instructions, prompts, allowed tools). Skills are auto-discovered at session start. Ultraloop is one of 67,000+ skills indexed in the open ClaudSkills catalog, classified under the General category.
